As we make our way through the cold winter months, MDNA and AMEA have several exciting events coming up.
In March, AMEA President Doris Toronyi and fellow AMEA members will host their annual Appraisers Forum in Detroit, Michigan. The event, hosted by Tramar Industries, will take place March 11–13. This is an incredible opportunity for continuing education focused specifically on machinery. If you are an appraiser, it’s an excellent way to stay current with USPAP requirements and an opportunity to advance to a higher level of certification. In my opinion, this AMEA event keeps getting better year after year. Our AMEA group does an outstanding job providing its members with strong programming and valuable learning opportunities. I have personally benefited from becoming a CEA-level appraiser.
In May, I am proud to announce that the Weekend With The Pros will be held in Los Angeles, California, May 6 – 9. As a born-and-raised Angeleno, I am very grateful to be part of the planning for this fantastic event. As your President, I couldn’t be more excited to showcase the city I grew up in and provide you with the opportunity to experience great tours and networking events. Our adventures will begin at the historic Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood—a wonderful chance to experience a storied part of Los Angeles and its unique energy. The program will include visits to manufacturing facilities, machine tool builders, machinery dealers, rigging facilities, and more. I can’t wait to share this incredible experience with you.
