This month marks a new milestone for Dan Wheeler in his 20+ years in machinery sales as he becomes the 48th President of the Machinery Dealers National Association (MDNA), an organization of over 400 dealers, auctioneers, and appraisers worldwide dedicated to shared ethics within the industry.
It's a big honor to become President and comes from the accumulation of years of dedication to MDNA that starts by first being selected to the Board, and then serving in positions as Treasurer, 2nd Vice President, and Vice President before reaching this capstone.
As President, Dan plans to focus on helping the next generation see the importance of MDNA and its local chapters by building bridges with younger people, teaching them about the need for associations and relationships in business.
Dan was joined by his family for induction at the MDNA annual conference in New Orleans, where they had a blast visiting with longtime friends and associates and making new connections.
Service and gratitude are at the heart of the Wheeler approach to both work and life, so it's no surprise that Dan summed up stepping into his term as MDNA President by saying "Grateful and honored, my crazy family and myself are here to serve! Let’s have a one hell of a good time!"
